Hi Phans! It\u2019s Sy Barry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of you may know me as the artist behind The Phantom daily comic strip for 33 years.
Right now I\u2019m working with a group of talented artists to raise funds for art-related programs at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please join me and a slew of international comic artists from July 1st to July 8th<\/strong> for an on-line comic art auction to raise funds to support support the Pediatric Activity Program Fund at the Dana-Farber Jimmy Fund Clinic<\/strong> in Boston, Massachusetts<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I take personal interest in the success of this fundraising effort not only because my heart goes out to patients in need, but also because I\u2019m a grateful patient of Dana-Farber myself. I\u2019ve also had many opportunities to sketch for the Jimmy Fund Clinic patients and I\u2019ve been blown away by their courage and positivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the auction, Saturday 1st July to Saturday 8th July<\/strong> there will be original Phantom drawings available from artists like Jeff Wiegel<\/strong>, Sal Velluto<\/strong>, Keith Williams<\/strong>, Antonio Lemos<\/strong> and myself! And, there will be one-of-a-kind comic art characters such as Batman<\/em>, Spiderman<\/em>, Hulk<\/em>, and Captain America<\/em> from top contemporary cartoon artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help me support a worthy cause, and add to your art collection at the same time!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
